Fix common webcam problems
Camera not found or black
Allow camera access for this site, close apps that might be using the camera, and check for a privacy shutter or camera switch. Unplug and reconnect a USB webcam.
Too dark or grainy
Face a window or put a light behind your screen pointing at you. Grain and a low frame rate usually mean the camera needs more light.
Blurry picture
Clean the lens, move a little further back so autofocus can lock, and pick a higher quality in the settings.
Choppy or low frame rate
Add light, close other apps that use the camera, and try a lower quality. USB hubs and long cables can also limit a camera's speed.
