About Upstream
Upstream is cloud live streaming software. Run a 24/7 channel, go live from your browser, send one feed to every platform, and schedule recorded video as live broadcasts, all without keeping a computer on.
The short version
Upstream started in 2023, back when running a round-the-clock stream meant a PC in the corner that nobody was allowed to touch. We moved that machine to the cloud. Today Upstream is verified by YouTube and runs continuous channels for creators, radio stations, churches, and media teams.
The product covers the whole job: getting a channel live, keeping it live, and controlling what plays while it is. Playlists, overlays, scheduling, and multistreaming live in one workflow instead of a chain of separate tools.
Always-on
Keep a 24/7 live stream online from the cloud without leaving a computer or local encoder running.
Explore 24/7 live streamingReal-time live
Produce live shows in a browser: invite guests, share screens, switch scenes, and add branded overlays without desktop broadcast software.
Explore Live StudioOne stream
Multistream one live feed to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, TikTok, Rumble, and custom RTMP destinations.
Explore multistreamingSchedule
Schedule recorded videos to broadcast as live streams at a set time, then control playback from Upstream.
Explore pre-recorded live streamingWhy it exists
Live streams become fragile when the workflow depends on local hardware, manual setup, unstable internet, or a complex chain of tools. Upstream moves the operational parts of live streaming into the cloud so broadcasts are easier to schedule, maintain, and control.
You build the stream in a browser, swap what plays without ending the broadcast, and let our servers carry the bandwidth instead of your own.
