Your computer can disconnect.

Upload once, then add files to your background or audio playlist. Upstream handles playback, so you don't need to leave your computer running.

Check your available storage before importing a large archive. If you keep originals alongside converted copies, leave room for both.

Yes. Import from a Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or direct file link. The file is copied into your library. Google Drive also has a picker for files you choose to share with Upstream. Follow the cloud import guide.

Yes. Create and rename folders, move files between them, and search by file name. Switch between grid and list views when browsing your library.

No. Uploading adds a file to the library. You choose which files go into a stream, arrange the playlist, and start or schedule the broadcast separately.

Review the file’s processing status before adding it to a playlist. Some codecs need reencoding for live playback. The reencoding page explains compatibility, credits and converted copies.

Free up space or choose a plan with the capacity you need before uploading more files. Leave room for converted copies if you keep your originals when reencoding.
