Upstream has seven platforms built in, including YouTube, Twitch and Kick. TikTok and any other service that takes RTMP or SRT connect as a custom destination. One stream can go to up to 10 of them at once.

YouTube: Connect your channel once. Upstream creates each broadcast, runs your midroll ads and keeps a backup feed ready.

Connects through your Google account YouTube live streaming

Twitch: Connect your Twitch account once and stream from the cloud. Your stream restarts on its own when Twitch cuts it at 48 hours.

29 more services take a stream over RTMP or SRT. Upstream sends to them as a Custom RTMP or Custom SRT destination. Each was checked against its own docs in September 2026.

Custom destinations

Stream to a custom RTMP or SRT server

  1. 1 Copy the server URL and stream key Find both in the platform's live or broadcast settings. An SRT server gives you one SRT URL instead.
  2. 2 Paste them into Upstream In the stream wizard, pick Other for Custom RTMP or SRT for Custom SRT. Save it as a destination to reuse later.
  3. 3 Go live or schedule it Stream videos from the cloud or go live from the browser, to up to 10 destinations at once.

Supported platform questions

Custom RTMP accepts rtmp:// and rtmps:// URLs. Custom SRT takes an srt:// URL.

Upstream streams to all 37 platforms on this page, and to any other service that gives you an RTMP or SRT URL. Seven are built in. YouTube, Twitch and Kick connect through your account. Facebook and Mixcloud take a stream key. Instagram and Rumble take a server URL and a stream key. TikTok and the rest of the directory connect as Custom RTMP or Custom SRT destinations.
