Setup
Your RTMP server in three steps
Create a stream
Make a free account and choose Multistream from OBS. Upstream gives the stream its own RTMP server URL and stream key, or an OBS profile to import.
Add your platforms
Sign in with YouTube, Twitch or Kick, or paste a server and key for Facebook, TikTok, your own server or any other RTMP or SRT destination. Up to 10 at once.
Start your encoder
Paste the URL and key into OBS, vMix or any encoder with a custom RTMP option and start streaming. Upstream sends the stream to every destination you added.
Your RTMP server URL and key
Every stream gets rtmp://ingest.upstream.so:1935/live and its own stream key. Copy both into your encoder, or import the OBS profile and skip the typing.
One upload, up to 10 destinations
Your encoder sends one stream. Upstream sends it on to YouTube, Twitch, Kick and the rest, so another platform costs your upload nothing.

When to run your own RTMP server
Your own server is the right call when you need SRT input or a server on your local network. When the job is getting one stream onto several platforms or your own site, Upstream does it with nothing to install or maintain.
