Lighting & Setup Tips

Lighting Setup
  • Face a window or light source for natural lighting
  • Avoid backlighting (light behind you)
  • Use soft, diffused light to avoid harsh shadows
  • Consider a ring light or desk lamp for extra lighting
Camera Positioning
  • Position camera at eye level or slightly above
  • Keep the camera steady (use a tripod if possible)
  • Clean your camera lens before testing
  • Choose a clean, professional background

Camera Permission Required

If you're not seeing a camera permission prompt, try these steps:

Chrome: Permission Reset
  1. Look for camera icon in address bar (far left)
  2. Click it → "Always allow on this site"
  3. If no icon: Click lock → Camera → Allow
  4. Refresh page and try again
Browser Settings
  1. Go to browser Settings → Privacy → Site permissions
  2. Find "Camera" and this website
  3. Change from "Block" to "Allow"
  4. Refresh and try again

Note: Camera access requires HTTPS or localhost. Make sure you're not on an insecure HTTP connection.

Troubleshooting
